Tough to see. Now simple to scan. Streamline postal operations by reliably scanning fluoro barcodes with any smart device.
For the first time outside of sorting machines, fluorescent mail codes — barely visible to the naked eye — can now be read anytime, anywhere, using just mobile smart devices.
Fluorescent postal barcodes have only been readable by specialized machines — until now.
Manual sorting is time-consuming, error-prone, and a drain on resources. Our solution empowers postal workers to scan fluoro barcodes directly using any camera-enabled smart device, streamlining the sorting process and reducing human error.
With Scandit, postal operations are more efficient, accurate, and compliant. That means fewer lost letters, faster delivery times, satisfied employees, and happier customers.
Scandit’s native Barcode Scanner SDK and no-code Scandit Express app both enable fluorescent barcode scanning, so you have multiple options to easily deploy this feature into your existing applications and devices.
Read this guide to find out how you can optimize postal operations by quickly and accurately scanning fluoro letter codes.
CTT integrated the Scandit Barcode Scanner SDK into its last mile mobility app to scan fluorescent barcodes on smart devices to improve mail delivery visibility, enrich its data samples, and ensure compliance with the SLAs.
CTT can now scan fluoro barcodes in under 1 second with a read rate above 98% and has reduced its risk of SLA breaches with an increased audit sample size.
Meeting SLAs for timely mail delivery is critical for mail companies to avoid hefty fines. Our solution enables detailed tracking to ensure on-time delivery and prevent costly errors.
Smart data capture reduces manual labor, minimizes errors, and provides real-time data, leading to increased productivity and employee satisfaction.
Capture accurate data to optimize delivery routes, reduce inefficiencies and boost post and parcel delivery capacity.
The approach was made with Scandit in the beginning of the summer, and then by September, we had the fluoro scanning solution implemented. We conducted some tests and the solution met all of the demanding criteria that we had.
